Project Description:

Corporate Offices build out of shell space and an Elevator Addition

Benefit/Value to Client:

Provide new executive level corporate office space within the existing Headquarters Building we completed in 2019 (we left the 2nd floor of the building unfinished shell) along with providing a new ADA elevator addition

Project Adversity Overcome:

Due to a water flood from a line burst over the holidays that displaced the offices on the first floor – DeSalvo seamlessly remediated the first floor including new flooring drywall repairs painting and new ceilings and lighting that were all damaged as part of the water event – including temporary offices and replacing the Owners office equipment and computer systems – in the end, we were able to minimize the disruption to the Owner and still deliver the new 2nd floor space along with remediating and renovating the 1st floor water damages.

Project Description:

Extensive renovation of a former dentist office into a new corporate real estate development company headquarters.

Benefit/Value to Client:

DeSalvo Construction was able to self-perform demolition, carpentry and masonry activities to expedite the project schedule. The project was delivered to the client early so they could coordinate their move in activities stress free. Masonry deterioration was discovered during demo activities and was repaired seamlessly by DCC personnel. The project was also delivered on budget.

Warren Fabricating and Machining

Project Description:

Construction of a two-story, 11,000-sq.-ft. corporate office building.

Design-Build, Masonry and Carpentry Services

Benefit/Value to Client:

Despite initial construction cost concerns and inclement weather during the build, DeSalvo Construction utilized various value engineering and project sequencing solutions to maintain the owner’s originally desired completion date and budget.

Cafaro Corporate Headquarters

2014

Niles, Ohio

Project Description:

Construction of the Cafaro Corporate Headquarters Building.

Role:

Metal Framing, Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, Exterior Panel Systems, Masonry

Benefit/Value to Client:

DeSalvo Construction recognized early on that the long lead time for the exterior building components could pose a future scheduling challenge. To combat this, DeSalvo Construction utilized 3D laser scanners to decrease the impact of required field dimensions and quickly release the materials for production and delivery to the site. This method enabled the meticulous installation of the exterior veneer system.

Renovation of Covelli Enterprises worldwide headquarters building.
